Resident Consultation Area

Sapphire Independent Housing is committed to working in partnership with all our residents to enable them to genuinely influence what we do.

With this in mind we have created this space for residents to view any policies, procedures and/or other Sapphire Independent Housing documents which we would like your feedback on.

Current resident consultation activities:

Residents' Charter consultation

As a resident and user of our service, there are certain things that you can expect from our staff and services. We are therefore proposing to introduce a residents' charter as a guideline for what you should expect. This charter is currently under consultation with our residents and service users to ensure we have included the main elements important to you. Once you have read the residents' charter please complete the consultation survey to give your views.

Resident Satisfaction survey consultation

We are reviewing our current resident satisfaction survey processes and would like your feedback and any suggestions on how you think the processes could be simplified. We have attached a survey processes consultation document that includes a list of all our current surveys as well as our suggestions for simplifying the current process. We would like you to provide your thoughts and comments on the existing surveys and any suggestions on how you think the process could be improved. Please can you send all comments to our resident involvement team at

Policy and procedure consultation

Sapphire is currently reviewing all our operational policies and procedures. This will involve updating a number of policies and creating new policies where required. Over the coming months there will be a number of policies and procedures available, in the Residents’ Consultation area, for residents to comment on. All policies and procedures will be sent to our Sapphire resident reading group requesting feedback as and when the policies are ready to be reviewed. If you would like to join the Sapphire reading group mailing list to receive a copy of this policy and give your views and feedback please contact

Don't forget to keep an eye out for notifications of upcoming focus groups, on your communal noticeboards and our News and Events page, that may be required for more detailed discussions and feedback on specific policy changes.

We are currently in the process of reviewing our anti-social behaviour (ASB) policy. We will be in touch with residents on our reading group contact list, to seek feedback on over the coming weeks. The policy will also be available for all residents to review and provide feedback in this consultation area.
